Easter Saturday - A day out in Tuscany

Today we took a full day tour to Tuscany where we visited the medieval hill top towns of Montepulciano and Pienza.  We visited the Abbezia di Sant Antimo to listen to Gregorian Chanting.  It was getting very cold at this stage.  Then at a Vineyard Restaurant called Il Poggio Il Castellare we enjoyed a delicious variety of traditional foods from the region, washed down with at least five varieties of wine, for lunch.  Both the Abbey and Restaurant were located near the town of Montepulcino. Driving through a rain storm in the coach we even experienced a little bit of sleet. Tuscany as always was stunning.

Where are Bella and Edward?  This was used for  New Moon's Vulteri home and is located in the town of Montepulciano.
