Another State - 22-23 Dec

Our road trip (approx. 2 hours) from Savannah, Georgia to Charleston, South Carolina was uneventful.  Arriving around lunch time at our Hotel before lunch we decided to spend the afternoon at a Mall and go to a movie. It was a way to reduce the tourist overload on our senses.

However, 23 Dec we were back on the cultural tourist band wagon and headed into old Charleston where we joined a tour of the old city and Magnolia Plantation.  It was a lovely day as we were the only passengers on the tour and got plenty of attention.  We have also continued to indulge in the unique and delicious southern style food.  After some evening rain we visited a local park to enjoy the city's Christmas Festival lights. As I have an early start tomorrow I will attempt to show our day in snapshots.
