Dropped in on David and Venus - Thursday 13 April

It was the Galleria Accademia and Uffizi Galleria visits today.  David was as usual, outstanding and I think Mum has gained an appreciation for his perfection.  Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raphael and de Vinci were all waiting for us at the Uffizi. It was a physically exhausting day as wondering through galleries can be.

Oh by the way, we caught up with the two missing passengers from yesterday's tour to San Gimignano and they let us in on the full story.  It seems they went to the wrong gate but had only just missed the coach.  We discovered the tour guide had lied as she told us that she had ticked them off at the gate before we walked down to the bus. Can't tick them off if they aren't there! They were comfortable with the outcome as they had managed to get on another tour coach for the return journey to Florence.
