We missed our first train to Rome this morning. We were there in good time waiting on the platform, just the wrong one! By the time we realised our mistake the scheduled train had left. Good thing they leave Naples every hour or so. We were terribly impressed by the insistance of the railway station workers to help carry our very heavy luggage and exchange our tickets, until we realised that it was all about a tip! There are two very dissapointed railway workers cursing Australians for giving inadequate compensation. Once we were settled in our second train to Rome we took the opportunity to have a bit of a giggle about the experience. 
The compensation for us of course was Rome was waiting at the end and we are very excited to be back in a city that we fell in love with two years ago.
The apartment we have rented is gorgeous and is located in a splendid area of the city. Ron has already poured over the guidebooks and written the list of activities for our three full days of site seeing.
