Cultural Week in Italy

Would you believe the reason that we are getting into archaeological sites like Pompeii for free is that it is the XIII Cultural Week in Italy. Therefore entry into all government run museums, archaeological sites etc is free up until 17 April. What is the date that we leave Italy for France? You guessed it, 16 April. Money saved on entrance fees is money spent on souvenirs. Arsy or what!
