NYC - 26 Dec

Having fun with Matisse at MOMA
I was determined that we would leave the hotel room bright and early to give ourselves a good chance to get to at least two venues today.  Having achieved this we were in good time to visit MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) where we checked out Matisse, Dali, Van Gogh and many other famous modernists.

Naming streets is all too hard in NYC

Obviously the Art inside is not as attractive as the space outside

Next on the list, but not before we chowed into a NYC staple (Hotdog with mustard), was the Natural History Museum.  This museum is famous for its dioramas and they didn't disappoint.  Checked out a few dino bones too.  Caught a NYC taxi for the first time to take us back to hotel and it was pretty cheap.

Bones, bones and more bones

Spent the evening shopping including a visit to M&M World.  Ron was thrilled to chat with an NYPD Officer.  Time Square is being prept for New Year and is difficult to negotiate with all the people being channeled around cordoned off areas.
