Christmas Day 2009 Part 1

Ho...Ho...Ho....

Santa was kind enough to recognise the good in all of us and provided us with plenty of presents to open on Christmas morning. Daniel and Amy stayed over Christmas Eve so that we could all be up bright and early to share our gift unwrapping.

The first gift was give to the dogs which also provided us will a little entertainment when they decided to get into a fight over the present (an opened packet of Smackos). Thankfully no one lost an eye or sustained any real injury except maybe to their dignity.

Another first was the tropical downpour that greeted us on Christmas morning. We haven't had such a downpour in months so it was a great present to our dry garden.

Ron unfortunatley cut himself on the very sharp ceramic knife that he had been given while attempting to put it back into its packaging after he had inspected it. No doubt about it the knife was going to cut up food.

Daniel seemed well pleased with his new drill. No need to borrow his Dad's or Ron's drills now.

After our gift unwrapping when Amy and Daniel had left to attend other Christmas functions, Ron prepared a roast pork and cooked it on the Webber BBQ. It was such a pleasure not to have the house heated by roasting meat in an oven.
