As it was so much easier exploring the countryside with your bed and kitchen at hand, we decided to do the same for our trip to the UK in 2009.
We have booked a low profile 4 berth with a rear double bed permanently made up.
In 2005 we found that it was easy to find a caravan park each day and only had trouble once when it was the UK school holidays.
Driving the vehicle on the roads of Britian did not seem terribly difficult as the British are very curtious drivers and most of the roads will allow for the size of the Motorhome.
