Flying from Venice we arrive in London on the morning of the 13th September. Owen was given the opportunity to choose the activity for our day in London and he has chosen the British Museum. He is keen to see the Egyptian displays.
We will be staying in the hotel in Russel Street Square, which is the Contiki Tour Hotel where Amy stayed the night before her tour of Europe. This motel is only a few minutes walk from the Museum.
We have received several recommendations for an evening meal in London including Carluccio's, Vinoteca, Queen Boadicea (splendid Sunday roasts) and the Fox and Anchor which is famous for its 'Hops & Chops, Cuvees & Duvets'.
